About Bana


Bannerghatta Neighborhood Association (BANA) was formed with the following vision statement to define its existence:

To unite the Voice and Action of residents of Bannerghatta Road on a common platform in governance through active participation in local issues, through Ethical and Morally upright means.


  • Identify and address local issues faced by the BANA community
  • Extend help & support to local and state government agencies on "Governance & Policy Making"
  • Fight Corruption
  • Community bonding & building, BANA members and families
  • Reach out to all other sections of society


  • Dairy Circle to Bannerghatta [stretch of 13 to 15 kms
  • 3 kms on either side of Bannerghatta Road on this stretch

In the short term, BANA will concentrate on the stretch from Jayadeva Hospital to Gottigere/NECE Road Junction


  • At least 200+ apartments/RWA's
  • 100+ RWA's representing single dwelling (SD) units


BANA demography comprises of

  • 9 to 10 Corporation wards which is 5% of BBMP wards
  • 4 Assembly Constituencies (Jayanagar, BTM Layout, Bommanahalli, Bangalore-Rural)
  • 2 Parliament Constituencies (Bangalore-South, Bangalore-Rural)

With founding members including L&T South City, Purva Panorama, South Avenue Layout, Pride Regalia, Ajmera Green Acres, Nandi Park, Mantri Woodlands, Esteem Enclave, Vithola etc., BANA is now in the process of enrolling the next set of members while looking to organize & execute cultural and sports events for its members and other welfare associations in and around Bannerghatta Road.
